Clients are coached by former BCG, McKinsey et al principals and mentored by, amongst others, McKinsey’s former worldwide strategy practice co-leader, a former financial institutions practice leader and a former regional operations practice leader
I think your site is great and I’m impressed by the depth of your analyses on the topics you discuss. However, so many articles are apparently gone or the links are broken (e.g., http://firmsconsulting.com/2011/05/21/bcg-takes-on-the-mckinsey-quarterly/). Could you please make them available again?
what do you think about buying Monitor by Deloitte? Do you think that Deloitte want to be more recognizable as strategy consulting firm? Do you think it could be the start of new era, the shift in consulting market?
What do you think about Mckinsey Quarterly and BCG Perspective publications? Is it worth to read it in order to better prepare for case interviews? Is it worth to read it in order to be better consultant?
We prefer McKinsey Quarterly since it has more articles and is better written. We however, use the BCG Perspectives graphs for training students since they tend to be more complex.

Hi Fabian,
We are making changes to the site. Hence the broken links and change in the articles. These will all be corrected shortly.
I apologize for this inconvenience.

Hi Pablo,
Thanks for this comments. We have thoughts on this since we have a record of discussing Monitor.
We are still considering how we will respond to the recent developments.

You should read them as a consultant.
